Stavropol deputy mayor killed in explosion

A veteran of the Special Operations Forces, deputy mayor of Stavropol, Zaur Gurtsiev, died in an explosion on Chekhov Street in the Russian city of Stavropol.
“All versions are being considered, including the organization of a terrorist attack with the participation of Nazis from Ukraine,” the regional governor said.
Before the explosion, Zaur was standing at the entrance to the house, when a man approached him with a phone in his hand and a bag over his shoulder. Immediately after he approached, an explosion occurred. Both died.
According to Mash, the man who organized the explosion lived in a rented apartment in the same building.
According to preliminary data, this is 29-year-old Nikita Penkov.
At around 11:00 p.m., he approached Zaur Gurtsiev and detonated a grenade.
