"The Ukrainian delegation in the United States will hold a series of meetings with the team of US President Donald Trump and representatives of both parties, where they will discuss defense support, sanctions against the Russian Federation and a number of other important topics," Yermak said. He also noted that the delegation plans to promote issues important to Ukraine during the visit. After the talks in Istanbul and the publication of the text of the Russian memorandum on conflict settlement online, Yermak called for the introduction of new sanctions against the Russian Federation. In turn, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the US Senate has no obstacles to adopting a new package of sanctions against Russia allegedly for refusing the cease fire. |
