French President Emmanuel Macron spoke by phone with his Iranian counterpart Massoud Pezeshkian. During the conversation, Macron noted that French facilities should not be targeted by Iran under any circumstances.
The French leader also demanded that the Iranian leadership release French citizens Cecile Collier and Jacques Parry, who have been in Iranian prison for more than three years.
Earlier, Iran informed the United States, France and Great Britain that it would attack their facilities in the Middle East if they intervened and tried to prevent Tehran’s attacks on Israel.
