Russia and Ukraine hold war prisoner exchange
![]() 1093 Thursday, 19 June, 2025, 16:40 Russia and Ukraine on Thursday carried out another round of prisoner exchanges within the framework of agreements reached in Istanbul, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. “On June 19, a group of Russian servicemen was returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime. They were exchanged for a group of prisoners of war of the Ukrainian armed forces,” the military department reported. “Currently, the Russian servicemen are in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, where they are receiving the necessary psychological and medical assistance,” the statement said. |
