"You can get more with honey than you do with vinegar" - Trump to Iran
![]() 795 Friday, 27 June, 2025, 22:53 Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's claim of victory over Israel is a "lie," US President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social. "I saved him from a horrible and shameful death, and he didn't even say thank you," he wrote. Trump said he had been working to lift sanctions on Iran, but after hearing "statements full of anger, hatred and disgust" from Iran, he stopped working to lift the restrictions. "They (Iran) are always angry, aggressive and unhappy, and look what this has led to: a burned, devastated country with no future, a defeated army, a terrible economy and DEATH everywhere. They have no hope and the situation will only get worse," Trump wrote, concluding that "you get more with honey, than you do with vinegar." |
