European Parliament rejects vote of no confidence in Ursula von der Leyen

According to the official website of the Council of Europe, only 175 of those who voted voted in favor of the motion of no confidence. 360 deputies voted against, 18 abstained. If Ursula von der Leyen had lost the vote, she would have been forced to resign. The author of the motion of no confidence against the head of the European Commission was Romanian deputy Gheorghe Piperea. |
