Turkey will continue to support efforts to establish a lasting peace in the South Caucasus. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this in a phone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.
“Bilateral relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, as well as regional and global processes, were discussed during the conversation. President Erdogan emphasized that Turkey continues to develop relations with Azerbaijan in all areas and will continue to support efforts to establish a lasting peace in the South Caucasus,” the Turkish leader’s office reported.
Erdogan noted that the “Turkey without terrorism” process will help cleanse the region of terrorist organizations, and the successful completion of this process will strengthen regional security.
