Zelensky: "Ukraine is preparing new long-range strikes"
![]() 454 Monday, 14 July, 2025, 09:52 Ukraine is preparing to deliver “new long-range strikes,” President Volodymyr Zelensky said on his Telegram channel after a meeting with the military and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. Zelensky said that he discussed the situation in key areas with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Sirsky, and the Chief of the General Staff, Andriy Ignatov, in particular, in Pokrovsk, Novopavlovsk, Kharkiv region, and the border areas of Sumy region. According to Zelensky, Ukrainian troops are actively defending themselves. The Ukrainian president also said that during the meeting, work was discussed with partners in Kiev to expand the supply of weapons and joint production of defense equipment. According to him, currently about 40% of such weapons are produced in Ukraine. As part of the plans to increase this figure, Zelensky announced “regulatory, financial, and personnel” changes. |
