Peskov: "Russia is interested in maximum interaction with Armenia"
![]() 908 Thursday, 17 July, 2025, 10:09 Russia is interested in maximum interaction with Armenia. In addition to multilateral formats, the two countries are united by close bilateral relations. This was reported by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan previously stated that he considers the country’s withdrawal from the CSTO more likely than freezing its participation in the organization. In turn, Peskov noted that this is a sovereign issue for the republic. “At the same time, they are interested in the SCO. That is, they are pursuing a multi-vector policy, as they see it,” Peskov added. According to Peskov, over the past few years, Yerevan has been striving to maintain a balance in different directions. |
