MFA of Russia: "Israeli attacks in Syria deserve strong condemnation"

Last Sunday, it became known about the attack of armed groups on a number of Druze settlements in the province of Suwayda, as a result of which the highway connecting the province with Damascus was closed. Druze self-defense units fought against armed groups to protect the civilian population. According to the Syrian Ministry of Defense, more than 30 people were killed in the clashes, more than 100 were injured, and 20 fighters of the Syrian transitional government forces were also reported to have been killed. |
