Clashes continue in Syria despite declared ceasefire

Clashes between Druze and armed groups continue in the Syrian province of As-Suwayda, despite the official announcement of a ceasefire by the Syrian authorities.
According to media reports, the situation in the south of the country remains very tense. It is reported that fighting is taking place both in rural areas and in the city of Suwayda. There are casualties and injuries on both sides. Armed groups are killing and capturing not only Druze militiamen, but also civilians, including teenagers and the elderly. Numerous cases of looting and destruction of Druze property have been recorded.
