Bayramov: "There are good prospects on the path to peace"

The holding of confidence-building measures between Azerbaijani and Armenian societies is of great importance. This was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with his counterpart Maka Bochorishvili.

“In general, speaking about the post-conflict settlement, we all understand that this is a process. This is a path that cannot be completed in one day or in a short period of time. Planning and implementing confidence-building measures between societies, holding meetings are extremely important. In this context, I would like to thank the Minister and the Georgian side again for the fact that on the initiative of Georgia, a very useful meeting was held on April 17 at the level of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia,” Bayramov emphasized.

“We believe that there are good prospects on the path to peace. We believe that the completion of this path is realistic. There are concrete steps to complete this process, but the Armenian side has not yet taken them,” Bayramov noted.
