![]() 437 Thursday, 24 July, 2025, 12:18 Thai authorities have urged their citizens to leave Cambodia immediately after a series of clashes on the border between the two countries, CNN reported, citing a statement from the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh. Diplomats believe that the conflict “will be prolonged and may further escalate.” “Thai citizens who do not currently have a valid reason to remain in Cambodia are advised to leave the country as soon as it is safe to do so,” the embassy said in a statement. The embassy also asked Thai citizens to refrain from any non-essential travel to Cambodia. |
