Tsunami reaches California coast

Tsunami waves after an earthquake in Kamchatka have reached the coast of the US state of California. This was reported by the US National Weather Service.
"The tsunami has reached the coast of California and, judging by the tide gauges at the beach of Arena Cove, California, is currently moving along the coast," the Los Angeles office of the weather service said in a statement.
According to meteorologists, the height of the waves is 48 cm.
