![]() 614 Tuesday, 19 August, 2025, 13:32 Iran and Armenia have reached a preliminary agreement on the construction of the second Norduz Bridge, the improvement of the existing bridge, the modernization of terminals and the adjustment of truck tolls, Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzana Sadegh said. According to her, the project to strategically connect the Persian Gulf to the Black Sea by rail is progressing. “A railway line to Julfa already exists in Iran, and its extension from Nakhichevan to Yerevan has been approved. This railway line can play an important role in transit transportation between Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Europe,” Sadegh noted. |
