US President Donald Trump has received an invitation to visit Russia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
“Trump has an invitation to visit Russia,” he said, answering the question of whether the US president could visit Moscow by the end of the year.
Lavrov recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed the invitation at a press conference during the Russia-US summit in Alaska.
“US President Donald Trump, if I remember correctly, said that it would be very interesting. It would be interesting for everyone,” Lavrov noted.
