358 people killed in Pakistan floods

At least 358 residents of the northwestern Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have died in the past three days of devastating floods caused by heavy rains.
This was reported by TASS, citing the regional emergency management department.
It is reported that the flood completely destroyed 349 residential buildings, about 450 buildings were damaged. In many areas, the transport infrastructure was destroyed, stations were damaged, which caused disruptions in mobile communications.
The authorities have set up 456 temporary camps for residents evacuated from the disaster zone. A state of emergency is in effect in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6,000 military and volunteers are participating in rescue operations.
According to meteorologists, torrential rains in Pakistan will continue until mid-September.
