Bayramov and Lavrov discussed the results of the Azerbaijan-Russia intergovernmental meeting

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the results of the 23rd meeting of the intergovernmental commission held in Astrakhan the day before with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
"The heads of the departments highly appreciated the results of the meeting of the intergovernmental commission. The ministers also discussed current issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda, various aspects of political, economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as regional and international security," the report said.
On Friday, it was reported that the meeting was attended by the co-chairman of the Russian part of the intergovernmental commission, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk, Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin, as well as the ambassadors of Azerbaijan to Russia Rahman Mustafayev and Russia to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov.
