Blogger Margaryan has denied the charges against him

The Moscow Investigative Committee has charged blogger Arsen Margaryan with insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland. During interrogation, the blogger did not admit his guilt, the Moscow Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported.
“Arsen Margaryan was charged with committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, committed through the media or the Internet). During interrogation, he did not admit his guilt,” the statement said.
Earlier, it was reported that blogger Arsen Margaryan was arrested on suspicion of making terrorist calls and insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland.
