Earlier, the Russian Energy Minister announced that the first gas supplies to Iran through Azerbaijani infrastructure could begin in 2025, with a volume of up to 1.8 billion cubic meters per year. Tehran and Moscow also signed a memorandum of understanding on gas transportation, and Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Iran. |
