Marco Rubio discussed Ukraine with his European colleagues

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed the diplomatic settlement of the conflict in Ukraine with the foreign ministers of Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, the UK and Ukraine, as well as the head of European diplomacy, the US State Department reported.
The parties “agreed to continue diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a long-term end to the Russian-Ukrainian war through negotiations,” the statement said.
CNN notes that Rubio “discussed the work of the coalition with the foreign ministers of Europe and Ukraine to create possible security guarantees for Ukraine.”
Ukrainian Minister Andriy Sibikhan confirmed on the social network X that Kiev is ready for “next steps towards peace” and “meetings at the level of leaders in any format,” the channel’s publication says.
