Armenia has accepted President Ilham Aliyev’s demand for an unhindered road from Azerbaijan to Nakhichevan, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov announced, summarizing the results of the Washington meeting at a special government session.
“After the Patriotic (44-day) War, President Ilham Aliyev has repeatedly and resolutely stated that unhindered land passage from the main part of Azerbaijan to the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic must be ensured. Despite all the difficulties, disagreements and different positions, this demand of the head of state has also been accepted by the Armenian side,” the head of government emphasized.
Ali Asadov added that the document signed in Washington clearly emphasizes the importance of this communication.
