Witkoff: "I will meet with representatives of Ukraine this week"

Trump's special representative called the meeting in New York "an important signal." "I'm meeting with the Ukrainians in New York this week, and it's an important signal. We talk to the Russians every day," Witkoff said. He also touched on the meeting between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, noting that the Kremlin leader wants to end the Russian-Ukrainian war. "I think he (Putin) has shown good will to get involved. He certainly did at the Alaska summit. But this is a very complex conflict," Witkoff said. |
