Aliyev received the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received the European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Magdalena Grono. APA reported.

During the meeting, Aliyev noted that the results achieved in Washington are of historic importance, especially emphasizing the role of the United States in this process.

“The Washington Declaration, signed with the mediation of the United States, the initialing of the peace treaty, and the joint application of Azerbaijan and Armenia to dissolve the Minsk Group are important steps in the peace process,” Aliyev said.
