Trump: We can make a deal with Putin and Xi to reduce nuclear weapons

US President Donald Trump is confident that Russia, China and the United States are capable of reaching an agreement to reduce nuclear weapons.

“I think something like this can happen - denuclearization“, he said on November 6 at a meeting with the leaders of five Central Asian republics at the White House, commenting on the topic of possible reduction of nuclear weapons by Moscow, Beijing and Washington.

“I think denuclearization would be a wonderful thing. I talked about it with President Vladimir Putin. I talked about it with President Xi Jinping. Everyone would like to spend all this money on something else, on something that actually benefits the people“, the head of the US administration said.
