Zelensky: Ukraine delegation heads to US

The Ukrainian delegation has already left for the US to negotiate a peace plan. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says in response to journalists' questions.
"There are several questions about Donbas, about our position. I have already spoken about this several times. We all know Russia's position. They want to seize the whole of Donbas, and now they want us to leave Donbas. That was their position, it is open," Zelenskyy says.
He notes that Ukraine is not ready to take the necessary steps, so the US is looking for a compromise.
"Regarding the discussion of this plan, 20 points, security guarantees, a reconstruction agreement—all documents, all possible steps—the teams will now meet. Friday-Saturday. Our team will be in the US. They are already on their way to the US. The Americans are waiting for them. I don't know who else might be present. Maybe there will be Europeans," he says.
