Today, January 22, a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US leader Donald Trump began in Davos, as the spokesperson for the President of Ukraine, Serhii Nykyforov, told journalists.
Shortly before the meeting, Trump told a Sky News journalist about “getting closer” to a peace deal on the war in Ukraine.
“Today, as you know, today, the president (Zelenskyy - ed.) and I will be discussing it. We're meeting with President Putin today or tomorrow and so people are going over and I think they're getting close. A lot of people are being killed. We've got to get it done,” Trump said.
