Shooter who killed two at a high school hockey game in Rhode Island identified by police as Robert Dorgan
![]() 1125 Tuesday, 17 February, 2026, 11:42 A gunman who opened fire at four family members - killing two of them - at a Rhode Island high ice hockey game on Monday has been identified by police as Robert Dorgan, 56. The shooter is also dead. Police Chief Tina Goncalves identified the deceased shooter as Robert Dorgan, who also uses the alias Roberta Esposito.
