No conflict with neighbors, U.S. bases targeted in self-defense

In a recent telephone conversation between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Pezeshkian emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has no intentions of engaging in conflict with neighboring countries.
He stressed that Iran’s military actions are solely in response to attacks, and that U.S. military bases, from which these assaults originate, will be targeted in line with Iran’s legitimate right to self-defense.
