The Iranian Foreign Ministry accused Zelensky of trying to rob the countries of the Middle East.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during his trips to the Middle East, is trying to financially drain the countries of the region. This was announced on March 30 by the deputy head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmail Bagai.

"The countries of the region that Zelensky visited are certainly too smart to allow such a person, who over the past four years has subjected his country to a devastating conflict and caused such disasters to the Ukrainian people, to try to behead them," Bagai was quoted as saying on the Telegram channel of the SNN TV channel.

He also called Kiev's attempts to link the situation in Ukraine with the actions of the United States and Israel against Iran a catastrophic mistake. He expressed confidence that the states of the Middle East would not fall into such a trap. Additionally, the representative of the Ministry thanked the intelligence services of regional countries that are making efforts to avoid participating in illegal aggression against the Islamic Republic.The German newspaper Berliner Zeitung reported on March 29 that Zelensky's trip to the Persian Gulf countries is nothing more than an attempt to seek help, which is receiving less and less from Western countries. According to the publication, the Pentagon is considering the possibility of redirecting weapons that were originally intended for Ukraine to the Middle East, as the conflict with Iran is depleting American stocks.
