The 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina has gone to extra time.
Enzo Fernandez was sent off after receiving a second yellow card at the end of a desperately underwhelming 90 minutes in which reigning champions Argentina failed to register a shot.
Nico Williams thought he had given Spain the lead in extra time, only for his effort to be ruled out for a foul on Nicolas Otamendi in the build-up.
