Haaretz: Netanyahu declines meeting with Zelenskyy during Washington visit

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to Washington, Haaretz reported, citing sources.
According to the newspaper, Zelenskyy's office contacted Netanyahu's office to arrange a meeting, but the request went unanswered.
At the same time, a source in Ukraine claimed that the initiative for the meeting had actually come from the Israeli side. According to the source, after Kyiv agreed to the proposal, the meeting was canceled on the grounds of a lack of time.
Netanyahu's office declined to comment on the matter, the report said.
Haaretz noted that the last full-format meeting between Netanyahu and Zelenskyy took place in September 2023, and the two leaders have not held a face-to-face full-format meeting since then.
