Hegseth meets Netanyahu as US, Israel reinforce defense partnership

War Secretary Pete Hegseth met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday amid rising tensions across the Middle East.
"Earlier today I had the pleasure of meeting with Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu," Hegseth said in a post on X.
"Members of my team, including @USWPColby and @SeanParnellASW, joined me to reaffirm the strength of our defense partnership and commitment to advancing our shared security interests," he added.
President Donald Trump had met with Netanyahu a day earlier.
