Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc won 53 of the 120 seats in the Knesset (the country's parliament) after counting 100% of the votes and failed to secure a parliamentary majority. This was reported on October 29 by the Ynet portal, citing data from the Central Election Commission of Israel.
Netanyahu's Likud became the largest party in the new Knesset, winning 27 seats. At the same time, the prime minister's block did not reach the majority, which requires at least 61 seats.
The opposition bloc won 48 seats, the Arab parties — 19. The main opposition party "Yashar!" won 21 seats.
