Yerevan to host “Polish Days in Armenia” project
![]() 8289 Wednesday, 20 October, 2021, 17:24 Yerevan will host the “Polish Days in Armenia” project in October 2021. The project is organized by “Our Beat for Culture Foundation” (“Róbmy swoje dla kultury”, Poland) and the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival, in cooperation with the Polish Embassy in Armenia. The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland and Ministry of Foreign affairs of Poland. On October 21 Komitas Museum-Institute will host workshops for children about Polish history and culture conducted by educators from Łazienki Królewskie. On October 22 workshops for students at Brusov State University will be organized. The History Museum of Armenia will host the opening of “The Treasures of Łazienki” exhibition on the same day at 17:00. On October 24, at 19:00 Adventures of Mathematician by Thor Klein will be screened at Moscow Cinema, which will be followed by Q&A with the audience. The star of the film Philippe Tlokinski will also arrive in Armenia. The film screening and arrival of the actor is supported by Warsaw Stock Company. On October 25, at 19:00 Zieja by Robert Glinski will be screened at Moscow Cinema. Film Nights and Days by Jerzy Antczak will be presented at the same Cinema on October 26 at 16:00 and 18:00. On October 28 at 17:00 “Armenians and Poles of Armenian origin awarded by Poland” exhibition will be opened at Komitas Museum-Institute. The gala concert of the “Polish Days in Armenia” project will take place on October 30, at 19:00. Komitas Museum Institute will host the concert of prominent polish musicians Voytek Proniewicz and Roshko Brothers (Voytek Proniewicz – violin, Adam Roszkowski – violin, Jan Roszkowski – cello). The program will feature works by Karol Lipiński and Wojciech Kilar. Admission to all events will be free. |
