Poland is going to create the strongest land army in NATO

The Polish authorities intend to create the strongest ground army in NATO so that it can repulse Russia, Minister of National Defense of the Republic Mariusz Blaszczak told Sieci on July 24.
According to him, after the reforms, the country’s army should become “several times stronger and more numerous in order to provide worthy resistance when attacked by a potential enemy.”
Former head of the country’s ruling party Law and Justice Yaroslav Kachinsky reported that Poland exceeded the NATO plan to increase defense spending to 2% of GDP. According to him, the defense spending of the state reached 2.4% of GDP. Head of the Ministry of Defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak stated that against the backdrop of geopolitical instability in Europe, it is planned to purchase about 180 K2 tanks and 48 FA-50 fighters manufactured in South Korea.
