Scholz confirmed the transfer of a new military aid package to Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz confirmed that Germany is providing Ukraine with a military aid package worth 2.7 billion euros. Scholz said this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Berlin, Ukrinform reports.
“We provide very modern, very effective, high-quality weapons that help you defend yourself … We do not stop. We have just decided to provide a new package of 2.7 billion euros,” Scholz said.
He noted that the new package includes additional Marder infantry fighting vehicles, Leopard 1 tanks, Gepard anti-aircraft systems, Iris-T air defense systems, etc.
