Ukraine and the US to hold talks in Saudi Arabia next week

The United States will be represented at the meeting by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US National Security Advisor Mike Walz and Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff. Ukraine will be represented by the head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, Andriy Yermak. “Rubio, Witkoff and Walz will travel to Riyadh on Tuesday to meet with the Ukrainians, in particular, with the head of the presidential administration, Yermak,” the outlet reported. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on X that the Ukrainian and American teams had resumed work and announced a “substantive meeting” next week. Earlier, Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff announced that the US and Ukraine would discuss a six-month ceasefire in Riyadh. On February 18, the first high-level talks between Russia and the United States took place in Riyadh. |
