The Armenian side is not responding to the issue of transferring Vera Aghasyan's body, APA reports, citing Deputy Head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General Sharafat Hasanov.
"The children of Vera Aghasyan, born in 1954, who died of illness in the city of Khankendi (Stepanakert - ed.) on October 20 of last year, were informed about her death through the ICRC, all necessary documentary procedures were carried out to transfer the woman's body, and even in February of this year, the issue was directly brought to the attention of the Armenian side during a meeting with the Armenian side at the border without intermediaries. However, the Armenian side has not responded in any way for almost 5 months," Hasanov said.
