Kobakhidze: ''With patience, Abkhazia and Ossetia can be returned''

The restoration of Georgia’s territorial integrity is possible, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in an interview with Imedi TV.
According to Kobakhidze, reunification with Abkhazia and Ossetia will become a reality if Tbilisi shows patience and “we are guided by that patience in our policy.”
“The resolution of this issue will, of course, depend on various factors, but with patience and the right policy, everything is possible,” Kobakhidze said.
In the fall, Mamuka Mdinaradze, the executive secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party, stated that Tbilisi, “contrary to the rumors circulating, is not going to become a confederation and recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. In such a case, the authorities would question the territorial integrity of the state,” Mdinaradze noted. According to him, the reunification of the country is a dream that “will definitely come true.”
