Peskov: "Moscow and Washington talks about peace, Europe talks about war"

While Moscow and Washington are talking about peace, European capitals have turned into “war hawks,” Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

“For now, we are focused on our contacts with the Americans. Especially since things are going quite difficult,” Peskov told reporters, commenting on efforts to resolve the situation in Ukraine.

Peskov stressed that while Moscow and Washington “are still talking about peace,” European capitals “have suddenly turned into war hawks, war hawks,” insisting on continuing hostilities.

“The Kiev regime is in its traditional position. So things are not going very smoothly,” Peskov added.
