Araghchi: "US-Iran talks to be held in Rome, but Oman to act as mediator"

“Rome is just a place for negotiations. The host of the indirect talks between Iran and the US is Oman, and we will be there wherever the host decides,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in Moscow.

“The role of mediator, coordinator and indirect liaison continues to be reserved for the Omani Foreign Minister and the government of that country,” Abbas Araghchi stressed.

The Iranian Foreign Minister confirmed that he will travel to Rome on April 19 to participate in the second round of US-Iran indirect talks.
