Trump։ "Russia made a big concession by refusing to occupy all of Ukraine"

US President Donald Trump said that Russia has made a significant concession in peace talks with Ukraine by refusing to “take over the whole country.”

“It’s a pretty big concession to give up taking over the whole country,” Trump said in the Oval Office during a meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

Asked by CNN what Russia is proposing in peace talks, Trump replied, “Stop the war, stop taking over the whole country.”
Complaining about Russian nighttime airstrikes to Kiev, Trump said he still believes that both the Russian and Ukrainian presidents want peace.
