![]() 912 Sunday, 27 April, 2025, 00:21 French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that Ukraine is ready for an unconditional ceasefire and stressed that now Putin must prove that he is ready for peace. Macron wrote about this on the X social network after a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. “Ukraine is ready for an unconditional ceasefire. President Zelensky confirmed this in a conversation with me today. He wants to work side by side with the Americans and Europeans to implement the ceasefire,” Macron wrote. “It is now up to President Putin to prove that he really wants peace,” Macron added. The French president also promised to continue working with those who are determined to achieve a ceasefire and establish a full and lasting peace in Ukraine. |
