Trump: "Zelensky asked in Vatican for more weapons"

US President Donald Trump said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked him for more weapons during a meeting at the Vatican. Trump said this during a briefing.
“He (Zelensky) said he needed more weapons. But he’s been talking about it for three years. Let’s see how things go,” Trump said, commenting on his private conversation with the Ukrainian president.
The US president added that Russia is very disappointed with Ukraine’s attacks on energy facilities after the announcement of a 30-day ceasefire in attacks on energy infrastructure.
Trump appriciated his meeting with Zelensky at the Vatican on April 26 and noted that Zelensky had become “more relaxed.”
After the meeting, Zelensky said that he had discussed issues related to the ceasefire in Ukraine with Trump. He noted that the conversation was productive and expressed hope for achieving lasting peace.
