Houthis claim responsibility for attack on Israeli airbase

The Shiite Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement, which rules northern Yemen, has for the first time announced a missile attack on the Ramat David military airbase in northern Israel.
“We carried out a military operation targeting the Ramat David airbase east of occupied Haifa. The operation was carried out using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile, which reached its target. The enemy’s air defense systems were unable to intercept the missile,” the statement posted on the Houthi armed forces’ Telegram channel said.
The Houthis have resumed attacks on Israel since March, when a ceasefire in the Palestinian Gaza Strip was canceled and Israel blocked the entry of humanitarian aid into the territory.
