Peskov: "London cannot be a mediator"
![]() 772 Saturday, 03 May, 2025, 19:09 Great Britain has taken a unilateral position on the Ukrainian conflict, so it cannot be a mediator. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov to journalists. Peskov commented on the promise of the British authorities to invite the personnel of the Ukrainian armed forces to the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II. “So far, London has not particularly claimed the role of a mediator. Only someone who is at an equal distance from the conflicting parties can be a mediator. London is not and cannot be,” Peskov said, answering the question of whether London’s actions directly support Nazism and whether Great Britain is depriving itself of the opportunity to become a mediator in the peace process. |
