Araghchi: "Tehran wants to reduce tensions between India and Pakistan"
![]() 728 Monday, 05 May, 2025, 13:15 Tehran wants to reduce tensions between India and Pakistan. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who is on an official visit to Islamabad, ISNA reported. “Iran’s relations with Pakistan, as well as other countries in the region, including India, are of great importance.” Calling on Pakistan and India to exercise restraint, Araghchi noted that he would monitor bilateral and regional issues between Iran and the two countries. It should be recalled that tensions between India and Pakistan escalated on April 22 after a terrorist attack in Indian-controlled Kashmir that killed 26 people. India blames Pakistan for the incident. |
