Moscow and Kyiv accuse each other of violating the ceasefire

Putin’s “parade ceasefire” was a farce, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiha said.
“According to our data, contrary to Putin’s statements, Russian troops continue to attack along the entire front line,” Sibiha wrote on the X social network.
According to him, from midnight to noon, “Russia violated the ceasefire 734 times and carried out 63 offensive operations, 23 of which are still ongoing.”
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that as of 00:00 on May 8, all Russian military groups had completely ceased hostilities.
“The Russian armed forces are strictly observing the ceasefire regime, not carrying out air, missile or artillery strikes. "Despite the declaration of a ceasefire, the Ukrainian armed forces have not stopped military operations against the Russian armed forces; moreover, they twice attempted to breach the Russian state border in the Kursk region, as well as launched attacks in the Dzerzhinsky district of the DPR," the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
