Rubio: "European countries are calling for war, the US wants peace"

US Secretary of State Rubio said that Europe wants war instead of peace. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that during his trip to Rome, he heard assessments that they want conflict in Europe. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

At a dinner of the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees with US President Donald Trump, Rubio said that Europe was expressing a desire to continue the conflict.

"One of the cardinals I met with said that it is very unusual for us that an American president wants peace, while some Europeans constantly call for military action, as if the world has turned upside down," he said.
